Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant related to an active marijuana cultivation operation. Detectives recovered over 1,380 plants and indicia of marijuana cultivation and sales. Some of the indicia was found in a child’s room. Both suspects (Elk Grove residents) were
arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 10400 block of Grant Line Rd.
Suspect: ATTIG, DAVID (WMA, 33, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to call for service regarding S-1 (Sacramento resident) standing near his vehicle and possibly impaired. Officers arrived and upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine and heroin. During the investigation, officers learned S-1 was driving the vehicle prior to contact. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests
and was arrested. S-1 was transported to the main jail.
