Elk Grove police investigating fatal collision on Laguna Blvd

The Elk Grove Police Department is investigating a solo vehicle fatal collision that took place early Wednesday morning on Laguna Blvd.

Pulse Point records show the call came in at 1:34 am this morning at the intersection of High Tech Court and Laguna Blvd. Emergency personnel responded to the scene. The driver did not survive the collision A witness told Elk Grove Laguna News that the vehicle involved was a pickup. The pickup collided with a tree.

Eastbound Laguna Blvd is closed between Haussman/High Tech and Laguna Main Street. It is expected to reopen by 7 am
