S-1 (Galt resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A probable cause search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia and heroin. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

A consent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.
