Victim robbed of purse Saturday night in Elk Grove
A victim was robbed of her purse on Saturday night in Elk Grove in a residential area near Monterey Trail High School.
According to police, the incident happened shortly after 9:30 pm Sunday night in the 8500 block of Modena Way. The victim was standing next to a vehicle when a suspect approached and attempted to take the victim’s purse. The victim tried to prevent the robbery but was unable to stop the suspect.
The suspect was described as an African American male, unknown age, 5’9”-5’10”, and wearing all dark clothing. The suspect fled to an awaiting car driven by an unknown suspect. The suspect vehicle was described as a blueish colored sedan.
