Elk Grove police officers arrested two people on Sunday for an incident at the Burger King on the 9100 block of East Stockton Blvd.
According to police, the incident took place around 6:30 pm. Shateria Jenkins, 19 of Sacramento, was in an altercation with a Burger King employee, when she jumped over the counter and took a bag of food from the employee and then fled on foot from the store with Marsha Jones, 21, also from Sacramento.
Officers arrived and took the suspects into custody. Jones gave officers a false name. After determining Jones’ real name, officers discovered she had an active warrant for her arrest. Jones was arrested for providing a false name to officers and the active warrant.
Jenkins was charged with felony robbery and was held on $50,000 bail.
