Officers were notified of a shoplifting suspect that had just left the business. Officers checked the parking lot and found S-1 (Sacramento resident) hiding in the backseat of a vehicle. S-1 was found to be in possession of the stolen merchandise. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
