Victim robbed outside home Thursday night in East Elk Grove

Elk Grove police are investigating a robbery that took place on Thursday night in the East Elk Grove area.

The incident happened shortly after 6 pm in the 9300 block of Rivage Way. The victim had arrived home and was removing items from the trunk of their car when the three suspects appeared. The first suspect took the victim down to the ground while the other two suspects took the victim’s purse from the trunk of the car.

All three suspects then fled in a white SUV. The first suspect was described as an African American male, thin build, wearing a dark colored jacket, white t-shirt and dark colored jeans. There was no description of the other two suspects.
