Suspect: CLIFFORD, COLIN (AMA, 22, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: FORD, LEE (BFA, 57, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: LLOYD, JACOB (WMA, 23, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) were involved in verbal argument when S-1 shoved V-1 to the ground, and then punched and scratched V-1 in the face causing visible injuries. During the altercation, S-1 threatened V-1. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: WOLFE, DUSTY (WMA, 31, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Elk Grove resident) causing a disturbance.

Officers located S-1 nearby and attempted to detain him. S-1 ignored the officer’s commands and attempted flee over a fence but was unsuccessful. S-1 physically resisted and punched the officer in the head causing visible injuries. S-1 continued to physically resist until additional officers arrived and detained him. S-1 displayed objective signs of being intoxicated. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
