Location: CONFIDENTIAL

Victim: CONFIDENTIAL

Suspect: ONG, WILLY (AMA, 40, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who was already in custody at the main jail on other charges, violated a protective order by calling V-1. S-1 was add-booked on the additional charge of violating a protective order.

Suspect: THOMAS, DANIEL (BMA, 18, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) approached V-1, pushed V-1 against a wall and then grabbed V-1’s phone. S-1 then rode away on a bicycle. V-1 and V-2 confronted S-1 a short distance away. S-1 slapped V-1 and punched V-2. After hitting both victims, S-1 rode away again. Officers were able to identify S-1 as the suspect and later located S-1 riding his bicycle near his residence. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 10100 block of Brian Kelly Way

Suspect: TRIPLETT, KEITH (WMA, 31, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: SHARMA, VIRJESH (AMA, 41, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Elk Grove Blvd. / Franklin Blvd.

Suspect: OREABOE, REGINALD (BMA, 52, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a hit and run collision with another vehicle. Responding officers located S-1 in his vehicle parked behind business. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: LAM, TIM (AMA, 47, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a multi-vehicle collision. As a result of the collision, the occupants of the other vehicle sustained injuries. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
