Three people arrested in Friday morning raid at Elk Grove home

Elk Grove police arrested three people early Friday morning at a home in the 6800 block of Springmont Drive.

Elk Grove police detectives and their SWAT unit converged on the home to serve a search warrant. Nearby residents heard several loud booms, that Elk Grove police say were flash bang distraction devices.

Once they entered the home, officers detained four people that were inside. Anthony Scarano, Dustin Le, Leslie Daniel, and a fourth unnamed person were inside. Scarano and the unnamed person were residents of the home. Daniel and Le were arrested on drug related charges, issued citations and released.

Also inside the home, detectives found an unregistered firearm, approximately ¼ stick of dynamite, ammunition, burglary tools and stolen property including stolen mail. Scarano was a convicted felon and unable to possess firearms or ammunition.

Scarano was charged with four felony counts and two misdemeanors. He is being held on over $1 million bail at the Sacramento County Jail
