S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were in verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed V-1 causing V-1 to fall. S-1 also punched V-1 several times causing visible injuries. S-1 then placed V-1 in a vehicle against V-1’s will and drove V-1 to another location. S-1 was arrested
and then transported to the main jail.
