V-1 was walking to work in the above area when he was approached by S-1, S-4, S-5 and S-6., two of the suspects observed armed with a bat and what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects then robbed V-1 of his property. V-1 went home and contacted police. A responding officer remembered coming
across a vehicle with a flat tire in that general area earlier in the morning prior to the robbery. Officers went back to the area and found the suspects along with S-2 and S-3 still with the vehicle trying to repair the flat tire. A consent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of V-1’s property. The weapons initially seen by V-1 were found to be a carjack handle and a flashlight. All six suspects (Sacramento residents) were arrested and then transported to the main jail.
