Location: 8700 block of Auberry Dr.
Suspect: RICCI, KATRINA (HMA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. S-1 gave officers a fake name. Officers discovered S-1’s real name and a record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: LOPEZ, ALBERT (WMA, 35, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Elk Grove resident) threatening V-1 with a sharp instrument causing V-1 to be fearful. S-1 left the scene but was located nearby by responding officers. S-1 ran from officers but was detained after a short foot pursuit. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service sitting in a running vehicle smoking marijuana. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
