Location: 8400 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect #1: HIGHFILL, GRIFFIN (WMA, 37, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: COOK, DOUG (WMA, 59, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the passenger and S-2 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed both suspects were on probation. A search of S-2’s person led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of heroin. S-1 was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and S-2 was arrested for possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Both suspects were issued citations and released.

Suspect: JONES, VINCENT (BMA, 39, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle contacted during a call for service. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. A record check revealed S-1 was required to have a vehicle ignition interlock device which S-1’s vehicle did not have. During the investigation, S-1 became physically resistive. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was detained by store loss prevention for shoplifting. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
