On Thursday morning Elk Grove police arrested two men in connection with an illegal marijuana growing operation.
Elk Grove officers, SWAT and their street crimes unit paid a visit to a home in the 8600 block of Gossamer Way in the North Camden area to serve a search warrant related to an ongoing investigation.
Over 530 plants were found as well as evidence the suspects has bypassed the electrical meter, allowing them to steal power. There were also 3 children in the home at the time. 30 year old Eliasi Mendoza Gomez and 36 year old Paul Ariaseaton were charged with multiple felonies and taken to the Sacramento County Jail.
