S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver and S-2 (Elk Grove resident) was the passenger in a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. S-1 gave officers the name of another person. Officers learned S-1’s real name and a record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. A search of S-1’s person and vehicle led to the discovery of 2 debit cards, a credit card, and multiple pieces of mail, that did not belong to S-1 or S-2. Also found in the vehicle near S-2 was a burglary tool and a knife with pry marks on the blade. S-1 was arrested for unlawful possession of personal
identifying information, false impersonation, conspiracy, and the active warrant. S-2 was arrested for unlawful possession of personal identifying information, possession of a burglary tool, and conspiracy. Both suspects were transported to the main jail.

Officers learned, prior to the argument, both S-1 and V-1 were driving separate vehicles before stopping in the above area. During the argument, S-1 vandalized V-1’s vehicle while using racial slurs. A juvenile was in V-1’s vehicle when the incident occurred. Officers arrived and attempted to detain S-1, S-1 physically resisted. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance, however, officers suffered injuries. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
