Charges: PC 496 (A), 466, 594 (A)(2), 1203.2 (A), HS 11364
Location: 9100 block of W. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect: KUSHNIR, KONSTYANTYN (WMA, 26, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Sacramento resident) cutting the lock on a dumpster belonging to a business in the above area. Officers arrived and stopped S-1 who was leaving the area in a vehicle. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A search of S-1’s person led to
the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of reported stolen property and burglary tools. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: VIRGEN, PEDRO (HMA, 49, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle, officers attempted to stop for vehicle code violations. S-1 failed to yield and continued until he eventually yielded after a short distance. S-1 physically resisted when officers attempted to detain him. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 9100 block of E. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect: SUNAKHENH, SOMPHONE (AMA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) entered a banking institution and attempted to fraudulently access V-1’s account. Responding officers arrived and detained S-1. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: UNKNOWN (BMA)
S-1 walked up to V-1, who was using an ATM. S-1, holding what appeared to be a firearm, demanded V-1 withdraw money from the ATM. Fearing for their safety, V-1 tried to withdraw money but was unable to. S-1 took V-1’s phone and ran from the scene. S-1 was described as an African American male, wearing a black or gray hooded sweatshirt.

Location: Brown Rd. / Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: BRINK, MCKENZIE (WFA, 23, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had active warrants out for her arrest. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
