Suspect: HERNANDEZ, ARTHUR (HMA, 47, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 intentionally stepped on V-1’s foot. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 pushed and kicked V-1. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a collision with a fixed object. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested.

Suspect: WILKERSON, NICHOLAS (HMA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted sitting in a parked vehicle with the engine running. Officers observed, in plain view, an empty alcoholic beverage bottle in the vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Location: 8700 block of Heritage Hill Dr.
Suspect #1: UNKNOWN (BMJ, 15-16)
Suspect #2: UNKNOWN (BMJ, 17-18)
V-1 and S-1 agreed online to meet at a predetermined location in order to conduct online transaction. V-1 arrived and met with both suspects. V-1 handed the phone for sale to S-2 to look at. S-2 then gave the phone to S-1, who ran away with V-1’s phone. V-1 started to chase after S-1 when S-2 brandished a firearm. The suspects were able to run away from V-1. V-1’s cell phone was later recovered not far from the scene. S-1 was described as an African American male, 15-16 years old, black jacket, dark- blue jeans and black shoes. S-2 was described as an African American male, 17-18 years old, black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black shoes.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the passenger in a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of two switchblade knives. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
