April 8, 2020
Dear Elk Grove Unified Parents and Families,
We are on spring break and only 8 days remain before we start distance learning for secondary students and 12 days for elementary students. This week, schools prepared distance learning packets for our youngest students in preschool, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten and will begin communicating the distribution process to their parents. Next week, schools will begin their delivery of the packets using a drive-thru method to adhere to the county social distancing orders and guidance. Parents and/or guardians should look for the communication of this distribution process in their voicemails or emails. Moving forward, we are continuing with Chromebook check-outs, student enrollment and student transcript requests.
