Location: Laguna Blvd. / Bruceville Rd.
Suspect: CEASER, DAEJON (BMA, 18, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was observed by officers driving a reported stolen vehicle. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, S-1 refused to stop and led officers on a short pursuit. S-1 stopped the vehicle, got out and took off running. With the assistance of the air unit, S-1 was found hiding nearby and detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: BAPTISTE, AUSTIN (WMA, 30, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was seen driving away recklessly from the area of a call for service. Officers attempted to stop S-1, however, S-1 refused to stop and led officers on a short pursuit. S-1 yielded and was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Victim: SAVEMART
Suspect: LEE, KENNESHA (BFA, 42, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was observed shoplifting and then left the store in a vehicle. S-1 was located nearby and stopped by responding officers. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: OLGUIN, MICHAEL (HMA, 40, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Elk Grove resident) driving recklessly. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 struck V-1 with an object causing visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
