Location: 8600 block of Adamstown Way
Suspect: FERGUSON-BROWN, REBECCA (WFA, 22, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Wisconsin resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

EVENING WATCH

Time: 1850 hours

Location: 8700 block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: JUVENILE (BMJ, 16, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted seating in a parked vehicle during a call for service. In plain view, officers observed a plastic baggie containing prescription medication sitting on S-1’s lap. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of indicia related to narcotic sales. S-1 was taken into custody,
issued a citation and released to a parent.

Location: 8700 block of Center Pkwy.
Suspect: LUJAN, JORDAN (HMA, 28, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. S-1 made several threats towards the officers and at one point slapped an officer’s hand. S-1 tried to run away but was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
