Charges: WARRANT
Location: 8400 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: WILLIAMS, CHARLES (BMA, 29, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8700 block of Monterey Oaks Dr.
Suspect: SNELL, WILLIAM (BMA, 57, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical. V-1 signed a citizen’s arrest form. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: 7300 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect #1: MARX, SOPHIA (WFA, 22, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: HARRISON, DONTE (HMA, 25, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Elk Grove residents) were involved in an argument with V-1. During the argument, S-1 pulled V-1’s hair and punched V-1. The incident continued inside a business where S-1 continued to punch V-1 several times while V-1 was holding V-2. During the incident, V-2 sustained minor injuries. S-2 shoved V-1 during the altercation as well. V-1 signed a citizen’s arrest form. Both suspects were arrested, issued citations and released.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
