NIGHT WATCH

DAY WATCH

Time: 0601 hours
Report #: 20-002950 / 2951
Charges: VC 20002 (A)(1), PC 594 (A)(2), 600 (A), 148 (A)(1), 242
Location: 8500 block of Iris Crest Way
Suspect: NAGRA, JASON (OMA, 33, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who was not known by V-1, vandalized V-1’s front yard. V-1 confronted S-1 who then slapped V-1. A struggled ensured and with the assistance of a witness V-1 was able to hold S-1 down on the ground. During the struggle, S-1 bit V-1 on the leg. Officers arrived and S-1 continued to be combative and physically resisted the officers attempts to detain him. After several attempts to gain compliance, a police K9 was used to apprehend S-1. When the K9 bit S-1, S-1 proceeded to bite the K9 causing a minor injury. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and he was detained. Officers also learned S-1 was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a hit and run collision with a pole earlier in the morning, not far from the above location. S-1 was arrested, treated at a local hospital and
then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: WATSON, DAVID (WMA, 64, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in an argument when S-1 grabbed and shook V-1. S-1 then shoved V-1 against a wall. V-1 sustained visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Orchard Loop Ln. / Power Inn Rd.
Suspect: CHAPMAN, WILLIAM (WMA, 59, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A consent search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: PAYAWAL, KAMERON (WMA, 23, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to call for service regarding a subject brandishing a firearm. The subject with the possible firearm along with several others, including S-1 (Elk Grove resident), were seen entering S-1’s residence. Officers arrived and detained several individuals. A consent search of the S-1’s residence led to the discovery of a high capacity magazine; however, no firearm was found. S-1 was arrested for possession of a high capacity magazine, issued a citation and released.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed V-1 by both wrists causing visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Officers responded to a call of shots heard in the area. Officers arrived and found evidence of shots being fired. Two residences were struck by the gunfire; however, no one was injured.

Suspect: LONG, MARGARITA (HFA, 35, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 hit V-1 in the face causing visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: BROGAN, RYAN (WMA, 22, ARRESTED)
V-1 confronted S-1 (Elk Grove resident) about driving recklessly in the area. S-1 brandished what was later determined to be a replica firearm and fled. Responding officers located and detained S-1 not far from the scene. In plain view, officers observed the replica firearm on the seat of S-1’s vehicle. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: ENGLISH, DAVID (HMA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for vehicle code violations. A record check revealed S-1 had a suspended driver’s license. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Wilton resident) was riding a bicycle and stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 had active warrants out for his arrest. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of a dagger. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
