If you thought you felt an earthquake this morning around 4 am, it was not a dream.
The 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck around 4:03 am, near Tonopah, Nevada. Tonopah is roughly halfway between Reno and Las Vegas, near the California border
The earthquake was felt in Utah and the central valley of California including Elk Grove, according to posts on social media from local residents. Several aftershocks have followed that measured as high as 4.9 and 5.1. More aftershocks are expected
