Sacramento Coroner releases name of driver killed in fatal Elk Grove collision

The Sacramento County Coroner released the name of the victim in Sunday’s fatal collision on Laguna Blvd. 27 year old Jesus Briseno Pimentel of Galt was killed when his vehicle struck a tree on Laguna Blvd, just west of Bruceville Road around 3 pm.

The collision left debris scattered on east and westbound Laguna Blvd and forced the closure of westbound lanes for several hours as Elk Grove police investigated the collision.
