Suspect: BENETO, JACOB (HMA, 18, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service and arrested for an active warrant.

Location: Bond Rd. / Terra Linda Dr.
Suspect: FOWLER, TIFFANY (WFA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Galt residence) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had an active warrant out for her arrest. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia, heroin and metal knuckles. S-1 was
arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Freitag Way / Testerman Way
Suspect: GUERRERO, ROBERTO (HMA, 34, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who was known to V-1, was in a physical altercation with V-1. S-1 hit V-1 over the head with the butt of a knife, took V-1’s money and fled the area. S-1 was located nearby and detained by responding officers. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8800 Block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: WATSON, LUKE (WMA, 27, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a business. When Officers arrived, they found someone had forced entry into the business. Officers found S-1 (Elk Grove resident) inside the business and detained him. A record check revealed S-1 to be on probation and had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: BELGARDE, ASTON (WMA, 36, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check found S-1 to be on probation. A probation search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: ENCALADA, LUZMARINA (HFA, 59, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for violating a restraining order, issued a citation, and released.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
