S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 pushed V-1 to the ground, held V-1 down and squeezed V-1’s face. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect #2: WOOD, GENELLE (HFA, 44, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Ione residents) were observed shoplifting by store loss prevention. Both suspects left the store with the stolen merchandise and left the area in a vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle and stopped it. Both suspects were detained. The stolen merchandise was recovered from the vehicle. Both suspects were arrested, issued citations and released.

Suspect #1: BAYONE, LATORREN (BMA, 23, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: POWELL, ERDIS (BMA, 44, ARRESTED)

Suspect #4: UNKNOWN
S-1, (Sacramento resident), S-3 and S-4 were observed shoplifting and confronted by store employees. S-3 and S-4 were able to get away in a vehicle. S-1 was able to walk away with stolen merchandise but was located far from the scene by responding officers. S-2 (Sacramento resident) was contacted in a parked vehicle and found to be S-1’s getaway vehicle. A record revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. A search incident to arrest of S-1’s person led to the discovery of a controlled
substance. S-2 was arrested for shoplifting and conspiracy, issued a citation and released. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

V-1 met with S-1 and S-2 at a predetermined location to sell a cellphone. S-1 pushed V-1 to the ground and took V-1’s cellphone. Both suspects took off on foot. S-1 was described as an African American male, wearing a sweatshirt and black jeans. S-2 described as an African American male, wearing a
black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
