Elk Grove Police bust two illegal marijuana growing operations

Early Monday morning the Elk Grove Police Street Crimes Unit arrested four men at two locations in the city for illegal marijuana operations.

The illegal grows were in the 9200 block of Crowell Drive (95624) and the 10300 block of Beckley Way (95757). Detectives confiscated 176 plants and evidence of sales as well.

All four suspects were arrested, issued citations and released

Suspect #1: LI, BAISHENG (AMA, 66, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: LI, YUE (AFA, 65, ARRESTED)
Suspect #3: LI, HONGBIN (AMA, 39, ARRESTED)
Suspect #4: CHEN, MINYU (AFA, 34, ARRESTED)
