Charges: PC 1203.2 (A), HS 11364
Location: Lyndale Cir. / Monterey Oak Dr.
Suspect: BARCLAY, LEXI (HFA, 24, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

Location: 8800 block of E. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect: WEBER, JAHMAR (BMA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted in the above area. A consent search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: THONG, SOPHY (AFA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Stockton resident) was contacted during a call or service. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and transported to the main jail.

Location: Anchor Bay Way / Big Horn Blvd.
Suspect: NICHOLSON, ERIK (HMA, 27, ARRESTED)
Officers attempted to stop S-1 (Elk Grove resident) related to a call for service regarding reckless driving and a vehicle code violation. S-1 failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit. Officers were able to stop S-1 by utilizing a pursuit intervention technique. S-1 refused to comply and physically resisted. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 displayed objective signs of being impaired. S-1 was arrested and then
transported to the main jail.

Location: 8100 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect #1: STAFFORD, TRAMEKA (BFA, 39, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: ANDERSON, LEONARD (BMA, 39, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) drove to a bank and were contacted regarding a reported stolen and altered check that S-1 attempted to deposit. A record check revealed both suspects were on probation. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 4700 block of Elk Grove Blvd
Suspect: BURNETT, DIERDRICK (BMA, 44, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) approached V-1 while walking and asked for money. When V-1 told S-1 they did not have any money, S-1 punched V-1 in the face and left the area. A short time later, S-1 was located by responding officers. When officers attempted to detain S-1, he physically resisted. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 punched V-1 in the stomach and kicked V-1 in the back. S-1 then attempted to stab V-1 with a pocketknife. S-1 was located by responding officers a short distance away and detained. S-1 was arrested and then
transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

V-1 reported S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in her residence in violation of a protective order. Officers attempted to contact S-1 who fled on foot from the scene. After a short search of the area, officers located a side garage door open to a residence. With the assistance of a police K-9, S-1 was apprehended. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
