Galt traffic stop leads to two arrests for meth and heroin

A Galt police officer making a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation turned into an arrest of two men on drug charges. According to a post on the Galt Police Department Facebook page, the officer discovered 57 grams of meth and 36 grams of heroin, as well as a scale and other paraphernalia.

The driver Timothy Pearce and the passenger, Jeff Fowler were arrested and taken to the Sacramento County Jail. Fowler has been released and Pearce remains in custody.
