Location: 8400 block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: HAYMON, ALVIN (BMA, 22, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Officers located a reported stolen license plate on S-1’s vehicle which was parked in S-1’s (Elk Grove resident) driveway. S-1 was contacted and a record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: ORTIZ, MIGUEL (HMA, 22, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A probable cause search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. An inventory search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

S-1 (Isleton resident) was contacted in the driver’s seat of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. A search incident to arrest of S-1’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

V-2 attempted to intervene when S-1 threw V-2 onto the couch and held V-2’s arm. Officers arrived and attempted to detain S-1, who refused to follow directives. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicles, however, both vehicles fled the area at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles eventually stopped on their own. A juvenile passenger found in S-1’s vehicle. S-1 and S-2 were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: KAMAU, MERCY (BFA, 54, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to an injury collision where the driver of one of the involved vehicles fled the scene on foot. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted a short distance from the collision walking in the street. S-1 was identified as the driver involved in the collision. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.
