Charges: HS 11377 (A)
Location: Banff Vista Dr. / King Oak Ct.
Suspect: COLE, ADAM (WMA, 27, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: 9200 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: CALDERON, ANDREW (WMA, 24, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted in a parked vehicle. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. Officers also located a knife concealed near the driver’s seat. S-1 was arrested and then
transported to the main jail.

Suspect: BENETO, JACOB (HMA, 18, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed in the above area and known to have an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: HEALY, ROBERT (WMA, 25, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1. V-1 attempted to exit the residence when S-1 pulled V-1 back inside and began pushing V-1 and V-2. V-1 and V-2 were able to exit the residence and call for help. S-1 used a tool to break V-1’s property. A record check revealed the victims had a restraining order against S-1. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: WALPOLE, JOSEPH (WMA, 30, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Modesto resident) was a passenger in a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest and was on probation. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of heroin. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
