Elk Grove City Council to take up censure of Elk Grove Mayor at August 12 council meeting

At tomorrow night’s council meeting the Elk Grove City Council will take up the topic of censuring Elk Grove Mayor Steve Ly due to allegations of misconduct and violating the city code of ethics

The meeting begins at 6 pm. The agenda item to discuss censuring the mayor is the last item on the agenda.

Over the past two months several women, including three local office holders, Bobbie Singh-Allen and Nancy Chaires Espinoza on the Elk Grove Unified School District Board and Jaclyn Moreno on the Cosumnes Community Services District Board have shared their stories with local media outlets.
