NIGHT WATCH

Charges: PC 10851 (A), 496 D(A)
Location: Auberry Dr. / Calvine Rd.
Suspect: MONTFLEURY, GERALD (BMA, 41, ARRESTED)
Officers observed a vehicle driven by S-1 (Sacramento resident). A record check revealed the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop and contacted S-1. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

EVENING WATCH
Time: 1900 hours

Charges: PC 466, HS 11350 (A)
Location: 9100 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: MILLER, JOSHUA (WMA, 33, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of heroin and bolt cutters. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: 8600 block of Spring House Way
Suspect: HARRIS, VICENT (HMA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signed of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Location: 9100 block of E. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect: PILLAY, RAJNESH (AMA, 45, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signed of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
