S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for trespassing and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (North Highlands resident) was arrested for trespassing, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: LIM, RODNEY (AMA, 49, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed a warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area. Upon arriving, officers located evidence of shots being fired. There was no reported property damage and no reported injuries.

Suspect: GRANT, GENESIS (AMA, 43, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 punched V-1 in the legs causing injury. Officers were given consent to remove firearms from the residence for safekeeping which led to the discovery of three collapsible batons and two grenades. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

Suspect: CARRILLO, RAUL (HMA, 35, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check of S-1 revealed a warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: SMITH, CEYHUN (WMA, 40, ARRESTED)
Officer responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (North Highlands resident) trespassing. When S-1 was contacted by officers and S-1 ran from the officers. Officers were able to detain S-1 a short distance away. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on parole. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
