S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 hit V-1 in the head. S-1 fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on probation and had a warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was located a short distance away and detained. A probation search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: LOPEZ, OCTAVIO (HMA, 35, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a report of an impaired driver. S-1 (Modesto resident) was contacted in the driver seat of the vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 was detained, and a search of his person led to the discovery of cocaine. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
