Location: Bruceville Rd. / Sheldon Rd.
Suspect: JUVENILE (BMJ, 17, ARRESTED)
Officers observed S-1 (Sacramento resident) driving a motor vehicle. A record check of the license plate of the vehicle revealed it was a reported stolen vehicle. A vehicle stop was initiated and S-1 was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to juvenile hall.

Location: CONFIDENTIAL
Victim: CONFIDENTIAL
Suspect: ELLIOTT CUNNINGHAM, ZACHARY (WMA, 28, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 wrapped his arms around V-1’s neck. V-1 bit S-1 and fell to the ground. S-1 strangled V-1 causing visible injuries. S-1 was determined to be the primary aggressor. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: IVEY, JEREMY (WMA, 42, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was involved in an argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 pushed V-1 causing V-1 to fall and hit V-1’s head. V-1 signed a citizen’s arrest. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: Calvine Rd. / Power Inn Rd.
Suspect: GOMEZ CAMACHO, CARLOS (HMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a consensual contact in a public parking lot. Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. A record check of S-1 revealed a warrant out for his arrest. A probable cause search of S-1 led to the discovery of heroin, methamphetamine, and indicia related to narcotic sales. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted on a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed warrants out for his arrest. A search of S-1, incident to arrest, led to the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted for shoplifting and detained. S-1 delayed the investigation by refusing to provide his name. Once officers received S-1’s name, a record check of S-1 revealed a warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 hit V-1 in the head with a pan. V-1 sustained visible injuries. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
