Suspect #1: UNKNOWN (HMA, 25)
Suspect #2: UNKNOWN (HMA, 25)
V-1 met S-1 to complete an online sales transaction. S-1 took V-1’s property and got into a vehicle driven by S-2. V-1 tried to retrieve the property as S-2 began to drive away. V-1 fell to the ground and sustained non-life-threatening visible injuries. S-1 and S-2 fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Location: 8500 block of Elk GROVE Blvd.
Suspect: HALBROOK, WESLEY (WMA, 39, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation. When officers attempted to detain S-1 (Elk Grove resident), he physically resisted causing an officer to sustain minor injury. S-1 displayed objective signs of public intoxication and was arrested. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
