Location: Calvine Rd. / Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: DEWEY, RANISHIA (BFA, 32, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check of S-1 revealed a warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A consent search of S-1 led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted and detained. V-1 requested a citizen’s arrest. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: LEWIS-ARDREY, MARCEL (BMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 punched V-1 in the face and threatened V-1, causing V-1 to be in fear for V-1’s life. V-1 stopped the car and S-1 took V-1’s phone and keys, fleeing the scene on foot. S-1 was known to V-1. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on parole. S-1 was later located and arrested.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
