Charges: PC 459, 594 (B)(1), 22810, HS 11364, WARRANT
Location: 8100 block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: CLEMENTIN, DATOJUAN (BMA, 41, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers found a rock had been thrown through the window and several items were stolen. The suspect was captured on video surveillance. Later that morning, V-1 observed S-1 (Sacramento resident), who matched the suspect seen in the video surveillance, near the business. Officers responded and detained S-1. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had a warrant out for his arrest. Several of the stolen items were located near the area where S-1 was contacted. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. A search incident to arrest of S-1’s property led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia and pepper spray, which S-1 is prohibited from possessing.

Suspect #1: LUERAS, TONY (HMA, 54, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: BORDNER, VIRGIL (HMA, 40, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were observed shoplifting and detained by store loss prevention. S-1 and S-2 were arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: Lewis Stein Rd. / Sheldon Rd.
Suspects: REID, ZACHARY (WMA, 30, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested.

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
