Location: CONFIDENTIAL
Suspect: MILLER, JOSHUA (BMA, 37, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 struck V-1 in the head causing visible injury. V-2 attempted to intervene and sustained an injury. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 4700 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect: BORODENKO, PHILLIP (WMA, 23, ARRESTED)
S-1 (North Highlands resident) was arrested for a public nuisance and violation of probation and transported to the main jail.

Location: 9500 block of Bond Rd.
Suspect #1: HANSEN, LAHN (WMA, 43, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: CRANDALL, BRADLEY (WMA, 41, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Elk Grove residents) were contacted next to S-1’s vehicle which was parked in a high school parking lot. Both suspects were known to be on probation. A probation search of S-2’s person led to the discovery of heroin, methamphetamine, and prescription medication, not prescribed to S-2.
A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of stolen property taken in a burglary. The search of the vehicle also led to the discovery of burglary tools, methamphetamine and heroin. Evidence from an earlier reported crime was also located. Both suspects were arrested and then
transported to the Main Jail.

Location: CONFIDENTIAL
Victim: CONFIDENTIAL
Suspect: GRUBBS, DELANO (BMA, 29, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was observed by officers in a verbal argument with V-1. Upon contact S-1 physically resisted officers. Officers overcame S-1’s resistance and he was detained. A record check of S-1 revealed he had a warrant out for his arrest and V-1 had a protective order against S-1. S-1 was arrested and transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 struck V-1 with a knife causing a non-life-threatening injury. S-1 was arrested and transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
