Location: Bowmont Way / Rifton Ct.
Suspect: MCLANE, FELEASE (BMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. S-1 provided a false name prior to fleeing the scene in a vehicle. S-1’s vehicle was located parked nearby. S-1 fled the vehicle on foot and located shortly after by officers and taken into custody. Officers located an unregistered firearm during their search for S-1. S-1 was then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: SINGH, KARAMJIT (OMA, 40, ARRESTED)
Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the drive thru. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was seen exiting the vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested.

Location: 7400 block of Grenfell Ct.
Suspect #1: AGUILA, DANIEL (HMA, 26, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: SINGH, AMAR (OMA, 40, ARRESTED)
Suspect #3: SINGH, RANJESH (OMA, 41, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a report of a subject tampering with a vehicle and located the suspect vehicle near the area. S-1, S-2 and S-3 (Sacramento residents) were contacted during a traffic stop for a vehicle
code violation. A record check of S-1 revealed a warrant for his arrest. A record check of S-2 and S-3 revealed both to be on probation and a warrant for S-3’s arrest. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of burglary tools, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. S-1, S-2, and S-3 were all arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 slapped V-1 and grabbed V-1 causing visible injury. S-1 then hit V-1’s vehicle with a hand causing property damage. S- 1 left the area and shortly after was contacted by officers. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protection order against S-1.

Location: Halverson Dr. / Moynello Ct.
Suspect: LAL, MELVIN (AMA, 19, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle observed violating a vehicle code. Officers initiated a traffic stop but S-1 fled at a high rate of speed. S-1 drove the vehicle onto the lawns of two residences before colliding into a patrol vehicle. S-1 fled the scene of the collision at a high rate of speed. S-1 then collided into a sound wall. S-1 was arrested and then booked into the main jail.

Suspect: WATKINS, RAYMOND (BMA, 41, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Campbell resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on probation and prohibited from possessing a stun gun. A search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a stun gun. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: 10000 block of E. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect #1: , JONATHAN (WMA, 36, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: HEERS, PHILIP (WMA, 42, ARRESTED)
Suspect #3: EHRMAN, HEATHER (WFA, 34, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a trailer that had been burglarized. Officers were able to track the stolen item nearby. Upon arriving in the area, officers located S-1 and S-3 (Chico residents) and S-2 (Sacramento resident) near S-2 and S-3 vehicles. Officers also located the stolen property in the back of S-2’s vehicle
in plain view. A record check of S-2 revealed he was on probation. A consent search of S-3’s vehicle led to the discovery of personal paperwork not belonging to any of the three suspects and methamphetamine. S-1 and S-2 were arrested for various charges and transported to the main jail. S-3 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
