S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia and stolen property. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

S-1 (San Jose resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 hit V-1. S-1 fled the scene and was later contacted by officers. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

S-1 (Stockton resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

S-1 was in a verbal argument with V-1 after a collision. The argument escalated when S-1 grabbed V- 1 and V-1’s purse. V-1 was able to prevent S-1 from taking her purse. S-1 grabbed V-1’s cellphone and threw it, preventing V-1 from contacting police. S-1 then fled the area. S-1 is described as a white, male adult, approximately 6’ tall, 180 lbs, 20 to 30 years old.

Officers responded to a report of subject tampering with vehicles. Officers contacted S-1 (Sacramento resident) matching the description provided. S-1 became physically combative and resisted officers attempts to detain him, causing minor injuries to officers. Officers overcame S-1 resistance and he was arrested. A record check of S-1 revealed warrants out for his arrest. S-1 was then transported to the main jail.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
