The Elk Grove Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place Tuesday morning in a residential area in East Elk Grove
The robbery occurred around 8:30 am on Tuesday morning in the 9400 Block of Chicory Field. Two unknown suspects entered the residence and threatened the residents in the home. The suspects eventually fled with some of the victims’ property in an unknown direction. No description of the suspects was provided by police.
Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.
