Report #: 21-000910
Charges: PC 594 (B), 245 (A)(1), 245 (A)(4)
Location: 9600 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: HENRY, JAMES (WMA, 26, ARRESTED) Officers responded to a report of a vandalism where the suspect threatened V-2 with a knife. S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted nearby and detained. V-1’s vehicle was located near the reported area with damage. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Bader Rd. / Oak Ranch Pl.
Suspect: CASTILLO, HUGO (HMA, 47, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Rancho Cordova resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Location: Harbour Point Dr. / Longport Ct.
Suspect: HARVEY, BREANA (WFA, 24, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check of S-1 revealed she was on probation and had a warrant out for her arrest. A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: KUMAR, SURAJ (OMA, 29, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
