NIGHT WATCH

Time: 0132 hours
Report #: 21-001035
Charges: PC 148.9 (A), 530.5 (E), 475 (A), 466, 476, 530.5 (C)(3), 496, HS 11377 (A), 11364
Location: 9500 block of Arcada Ct.
Suspect #1: , GASPAR (HMA, 28, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: CASAREZ, CHRISTINA (HFA, 31, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a report of subjects using flashlights to look into vehicles. S-1 & S-2 (Sacramento residents) were contacted nearby and detained. Both subjects initially provided false names. A record check of their correct names revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of personal identifying information to persons other than S-1 and S-2, counterfeit currency, forged checks, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested for various charges and then transported to the main jail. S-2 was arrested for various charges, issued a citation, and released.

Location: 9100 block of W. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect: HAYMON, ALVIN (BMA, 23, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on probation. A probation search of his person and property led to the discovery of burglary tools, drug paraphernalia, and methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested and then then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: AHMADI, ERFAN (OMA, 39, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 pushed and grabbed V-1. A minor was present during the incident. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

Suspect: FORWARD, ANTONIO (BMA, 39, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and he was arrested.

Location: 9900 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: CRUZ, JOSE (HMA, 44, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run vehicle collision. S-1 was located shortly after. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and he was arrested.

Location: Four Seasons Dr. / Spring House Way
Suspect: CHO, YU (AMA, 33, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle contacted during a call for service. Upon contact officers observed drug paraphernalia and an empty alcoholic beverage. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. A search of S-1, incident to arrest, led to the discovery of heroin.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
