Charges: HS 11350 (A), BP 4060
Location: 7200 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect: THOMAS, DANIELLE (BFA, 40, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A probable cause search led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

Location: 8400 block of Elk Grove
Suspect: KUMAR, RAMITESH (OMA, 26, ARRESTED)
V-1 and V-2 were in a vehicle when they observed S-1 (Sacramento resident) retrieve a firearm from his vehicle. V-1 and V-2 left the area in their vehicle and S-1 followed. S-1 began shooting towards V- 1’s vehicle striking the vehicle several times. S-1 was contacted and detained. A search of the area led to the discovery of a firearm. S-1 was arrested for various charges and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: JUVENILE (HFJ, 17, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Brawley resident) was contacted during a call for service. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of nunchakus and throwing stars. S-1 was taken into custody and then transported to juvenile hall.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed shoplifting by store loss prevention. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of heroin. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

V-1 reported S-1 approached V-1 and brandished a firearm and demanded V-1’s property. S-1 fled the scene in a vehicle driven by S-1 with V-1’s property.

Suspect: MAGEE, KEEMARIO (BMA, 39, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Stockton resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 when S-1 threw an object at V-1 hitting V-1. S-1 was contacted and detained. A record check of S-1 revealed a warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
