NIGHT WATCH

Time: 0209 hours
Report #: 21-003484
Charges: PC 647 (F), 148 (A)(1)
Location: 9000 block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: GROSCHEN, STEVEN (WMA, 37, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a report of a subject hitting vehicles with a metal pole. Upon arrival, S-1 (Elk
Grove resident) ignored officers request to drop the metal pole. S-1 was eventually detained and
displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Muffy Ct. / Waterman Rd.
Suspect: GOMEZ CAMACHO, CARLOS (HMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed a
warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. A search of S-1 led
to the discovery of heroin.

Suspect: HEERS SAILSBERY, KIMBERLY (WFA, 19, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed a
warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 9100 block of Bristol Plaza Way
Suspect: JUVENILE (BMJ, 15, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed a
warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was taken into custody and then transported to juvenile hall.

Time: 1132 hours

Charges: PC 243 (B), 148 (A)(1)
Location: 9200 block of Harrogate Way
Suspect: JUVENILE (WMJ, 15, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. S-1 resisted officers attempts to
detain him. Officers overcame S-1’s resistance and he was taken into custody. S-1 then spit on an
officer. S-1 was transported to juvenile hall.

Location: Babson Dr. / Four Winds Dr.
Suspect: SMITH, JEREMY (WMA, 44, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact, S-1
displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

EVENING WATCH

Time: 2112 hours

Charges: PC 459.5, 182 (A)(1), 496, HS 11377 (A), VC 2800.2 (A)
Location: 9100 block of E. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect #1: UNKNOWN (BMU)
Suspect #2: ARREAGA, STEPHANIE (HFA, 33, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding a theft. Officers located the suspect vehicle and
initiated a vehicle stop. The driver, S-1, led officers on a pursuit which was terminated for safety
concerns. Officers located the vehicle nearby and observed both S-1 and S-2 outside of the vehicle.
S-1 entered the vehicle and fled leaving S-2 (Stockton resident) behind. S-2 was detained. S-1
continued to flee from officers and eventually stopped the vehicle before fleeing on foot. An extensive
search for S-1 was conducted but was unsuccessful at locating S-1. A probable cause search of S-2
led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-2 was arrested, issued a citation, and released.

 
 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
