Charges: VC 10851 (A), PC 496 D(A), 602 (L)(1), HS 11377 (A), 11364
Location: 8100 block of Sheldon Rd.
Suspect: DAVIS, TROY (BMA, 51, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted by officers in a public parking lot. A record check of the
vehicle S-1 was associated to returned as a reported stolen vehicle. A probable cause search of S-1
led to the discovery of methamphetamine, and narcotic paraphernalia. A record check of S-1 revealed he was on parole and had previously been served a trespass notice for the location of the contact. S-
1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: ZAZUETA, HOMAR (HMA, 32, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Rio Linda resident) was contacted as the driver of a vehicle during a call for service. Upon
contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and
was arrested.

Suspect: HUTCHINS, KALIANAI (WFA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 struck V-1
causing visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: JUVENILE (HMJ, 17, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a vehicle officers attempted to stop for a vehicle code
violation. S-1 fled the area leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit was terminated due to S-1’s
disregard for public safety. Shortly after, officers observed S-1’s vehicle had been involved in a
collision. S-1 fled the area and was located by officers and detained. S-1 was taken into custody and
then transported to juvenile hall.

Suspect: PUSHALSKI, FRANCIS (WMA, 42, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Citrus Heights resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. Upon contact,
S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was
arrested. A search of S-1, incident to arrest, led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
