Location: 7400 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect #1: UNKNOWN (HMA, 18)
Suspect #2: UNKNOWN (HMJ, 15)
S-1 and S-2 struck V-1 causing injury. S-1 and S-2 fled the area in an unknown direction prior to police
arrival.

Location: Elk Grove Florin Rd. / Silverberry Ave.
Suspect #1: JUVENILE (HMJ, 15, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: JUVENILE (HMJ, 15, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were observed in a vehicle driving on public roadway. A record
check of S-1’s vehicle revealed it was reported as stolen. Officers attempted to make a vehicle stop
when S-1 failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit. S-1 was involved in a vehicle collision with another
vehicle. S-2 fled on foot and was taken into custody a short distance away. S-1 remained on scene and
was taken into custody. Both S-1 and S-2 were then transported to the main jail.

Location: 9800 block of Ken Duffy Way
Suspect: UNKNOWN
Officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of shots fired. Shortly later, officers discovered an adult male self-transported to a local hospital with non- life-threatening injuries.

Location: CONFIDENTIAL
Suspect: KELLEY, JOHN (WMA, 45, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) threatened V-1 and V-2 causing both to be in fear for their safety. S-1 is known
to V-1 and V-2. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 9400 block of Harbour Point Dr.
Suspect: PARKER, THYONNA (BFA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed she
was on probation and had warrants out for her arrest. S-1 resisted officers attempts to take her into
custody. Officers overcame S-1’s resistance and she was arrested. S-1 was then transported to the
main jail.

Location: 9400 block of Harbour Point Dr.
Suspect: UPCHURCH, KEONTE (BMA, 28, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Vallejo resident) was contacted during a call for service. S-1 resisted officers attempts to take him
into custody. Officers overcame S-1’s resistance and he was arrested. A search of the residence led to
the discovery of personal identifying information that did not belong to S-1. A record check of S-1
revealed he had a warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was then transported to the main jail

Location: 4200 block of Zaccaro Way
Suspect: LEWIS, KAREEMHA (BFA, 21, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed she
had a warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Calvine Rd. / Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: SAKAOKA, ANTHONY (HMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon
contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 failed poorly on field sobriety test and was
arrested.

 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
